They grow wild all over the property — those giant, crinkle-petaled blooms that look like fried eggs scattered across the hillside. Matilija poppies. One of my absolute favorites.

I pressed them into 100% mulberry silk, added some eucalyptus and let nature do the rest. No chemical dyes, no shortcuts — just the plant, the silk, and time. The result is a one-of-a-kind wild rag that carries the spirit of the land it came from.
