Every piece of western tack is hand-dyed and handmade by me. Every saddle blanket design and color palette originates right here at The Wildflower Ranch in Llano, California. My designs come to life by the hands of my team of expert, generational craftsmen who embrace every challenge I give them.

What You're Seeing in the Gallery

This is a collection of my work from past to present — I have created hundreds of designs and over 10,000 pieces of hand-woven breast collars and cinches. As I come across past designs, I will add them.

Price

My pricing is about the intricacy of the design and the time I spend creating it. If I am dyeing 10-15 colors for the design like a few of designs, it will cost more. If the design has a lot of weaving and not much space, it is time consuming. My prices are fair because that means a lot to me and I expect that when I am buying.

     -  A classic, western diamond design is beautiful and very elegant. A cinch/girth with a natural base color and one accent color is $150. Breast Collar in this same design is $195. A matching set with both is $330.

     - A design with 2-3 colors, more weaving and small detail work: Cinch is $170. Breast Collar is $215. Set $370 

     - A mid-range, for example, "Smokes Ride" design has elements of twisted special cord, a good deal of weaving and 2 accent colors: cinch is $195. Breast Collar is $240. Set is $420

     - A design like the serape cinch is 13 maybe 14 colors hand dyed, has a lot of color changing work and is woven end-to-end on both cinch and breast collar. This design takes many hours of precision work for ombre color dyeing, weaving etc. Cinch is $230. Breast Collar is $355. Set is $570. I have a great eye for color and design, imagination and patience for this kind of work which is why I was the first maker to even try.

If properly cared for my Mohair / Alpaca Tack will last decade; a fully woven design can last a lifetime. Each piece comes with care instructions.
