Wool Saddle Blanket ~ Transformation

TRANSFORMATION is a wool saddle Blanket on a black base with teal, turquoise and gold accents representing the wings of a butterfly. The tan black and cream design symbolizes the body of a butterfly.

What inspired me was zooming in on a photograph of a beautiful, colorful butterfly. I loved what I saw in that zoom - so I wove it.

The cream, tan and black in the center area of the design represents the body of the butterfly. The teal, turquoise and gold around represent its colorful wings.

This is my original design from my own zoom, from my own eye to the loom. Not a copy. Not a stock pattern.
