It started as a walk in Pearblossom Park with my dog Zia — and ended with this.

The olive trees stopped me in my tracks. Their branches, their leaves, that silvery green that only olive trees have. I gathered what had fallen and brought it home to the silk. What came out was this rag — earthy, soft, and full of that quiet afternoon light.
