Breast Collar / Cinch Set

I made this breast collar and cinch set to match a Yucca Flats saddle blanket, custom-dyeing every color in the tack by eye. These aren’t colors you can buy off the shelf. Each shade was mixed to match that particular blanket.

Turquoise, deep red, cream, warm gold and dark accents carry the blanket’s palette into the tack, while the geometric designs echo its pattern without copying it stitch for stitch. The result is a set that belongs with the blanket, connected by color and the handwork behind every detail.
