Wool Saddle Blanket ~ The Great Plains

The Great Plains Wool Saddle Blanket / Pad is inspired by the Native American history of the the Great Plains region. 
Each corner of this saddle blanket depicts a black bird which can be seen as Crow or Raven both important symbols in the culture. 
The colors are a subtle, neutral palette of sand, grays and cream outlined in black. Accents of sky blue, sage and red earth in diamond elements was inspired by the richness of the culture and history of the Great Plains region. 
Although it isn’t always possible to keep  a full stock of Saddle Blankets they are always in the works. This design can be pre-ordered with an approximate lead time of 4-8 weeks. If you happen to order at the “right” time it can be as quick as 10 days to 2 weeks! 
The Great Plains design can be made with spine length 31 -35” with a drop length of 18”, 19”, 20” or 21”. 
A 34” x 38” fits an average horse and is standard size. Many people these days tend to order larger blankets to show off as much of the blanket as possible! It’s a personal choice. 
My saddle blankets are all unique, original designs, they are hand woven with Merino Wool by generational craftsman. Whether you ride trail, Ranch and Arena or Show my color palettes and designs stand out! I work closely with my team of weavers and we have built a strong relationship over years of partnership.
No two blankets are exactly the same rather they show the individual spirit and imagination of the weaver.
